Raipur, Jan 8 (PTI) Fifteen Naxalites were tonight killed in an encounter with police in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district.
DIG police Pawan Dev told PTI that a police team was in search of Naxalites in a jungle for the last three days.
They came across the Maoists at a place under Kollapalli police station jurisdiction when the ultras opened fire, triggering the gun-battle in which 15 Naxalites were killed, he said.
In a separate incident, police killed a Naxalite in an encounter in Bijapur district, Dev said. PTI
