Chatra (Jharkhand), Jan 08 A man was today arrested on the charges of extorting money in the name of Maoists and Rs two lakh was seized from his house, police said here.
The police raided the rented house of one Vineet Kumar Soni at Kathotia locality in Chatra town and arrested him, the sources said.
A resident of Neem Chowk village under Chatra&aposs Chandua police station, Soni had allegedly been helping the Maoists.
