CoBRA aquires more land for setting up bases

New Delhi, July 21 (PTI) The specialised anti naxal force -- CoBRA -- has now acquired two more plots other than the existing ones at Hazaribagh and Jagdalpur for setting up its bases in left-wing extremism hit states.

CoBRA sources said the force has acquired land at Gaya in Bihar and Bhandara in Maharashtra.

Sources said the bases would be raised within this fiscal only.

The CRPF, under whose command and control the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action would function is currently providing specialised training to the personnel of the new force.
