RANCHI: The RJD would give tickets to Naxalites to fight elections if they eschew violence, party chief Lalu Prasad said here today.

"I will give tickets (to Naxalites) if they shun the path of violence and join the mainstream. The path of non-violence is the best," Prasad told reporters here.

He was commenting to a query on JMM president Shibu Soren allotting party tickets to former Naxalites in the coming assembly elections. "What's wrong in it if one wished to shun the path of violence?".

Prasad, who is here to campaign for RJD candidates in Jharkhand, said: "They (Naxalites) are a part of our society.

We should go to the root cause of Naxalism.

"There are several people (in the ranks of Maoists) who want to shun violence as nobody likes that path," he said.

He reiterated that military action was not a solution to control the ultra-left extremism and advocated efforts for a dialogue with the Maoists to bring them to mainstream.

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, during his recent visit here, had ruled out army involvement in taming the Naxal menace.

INDEED A VERY WISE STEP.
NOW LAUNCH LIBERALS OF MAHABHARATA, A NEW POLITICAL OUT FIT, BY MERGING MAOISTS OR NAXALITES INTO IT & THEREAFTER FILE A PIL RATHER A NIL- NATIONAL INTEREST LITIGATION IN THE APEX COURT TO SEEK LIBERTY WHICH IS YET TO COME, AS THERE IS A VAST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INDEPENDENCE & THE LIBERTY.
THE CASE IS READY WITH US TO BE DIVULGED TO YOUR GOOD SELF & DELIBERATED IF YOU ARE WILLING TO BRING LIBERTY TO THE GREAT NATION OF BHARAT--dr.amritgaur at:aagassociates@yahoo.com
