Bhopal, Nov 10:

MP Congress Committee spokesman JP Dhanopia said that the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) is organising national conference in the state capital. During the conference naxal supporters are distributing pamphlets and shouting slogans. But the state government is not taking any action against them. Moreover, the new home minister Umashankar Gupta is busy in attending his welcome programmes, he has no time these days to look into the law and order situation in the state.
He expressed surprise and said that the conference is going on in the Patrakar Bhavan. This building is under the control of the district collector and allotting power of this building vest with the collector. What was the circumstance which forced the district collector to allot this building without any investigation of the conference, he asked.
Dhanopia demanded the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to take stern steps to contain the worsening law and order situation in the state and take up naxal problem seriously. He said that the chief minister should advise the home minister to come out of welcome functions and look into serious issues like law and order situation.
