Raipur, Dec 1 (PTI) One person was killed and an under-construction police barrack destroyed by suspected naxalites in two separate incidents in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district, police said today.
Accusing one Najuk Ram Koracha of being a police informer, the naxals dragged him out of his home in Thudhud village on Sunday night, Inspector General R K Vij told PTI.
His body was recovered by villagers the next day with his throat slit, he said.
In another incident, the ultras destroyed a police barrack in PV-34 village after they came to know about its construction here yesterday, Vij said.
