Two fake Naxals held

RAYAGADA: Town police arrested two youths from near Majhi Ghariyani temple last night on charges of threatening a weigh-bridge owner in the guise of Naxals. They have been identified as Ajit Kumar Badra from Jadalaguda under Chandili police limits and Duryodhan Janta, a former sarpanch of Jhimidipeta under Seshkal police limits. Janta is also said to have criminal records and was jailed for sometime on murder charges.
According to IIC RK Senapati, the two posing as Naxals have been threatening one B.
Raguram, the weigh-bridge owner at Kerada gate, bordering Andhra Pradesh, to part with Rs 5 lakh for some time now and it was finally agreed to meet and discuss the issue at Majhi Ghariyani temple last night. At the temple the two men asked Raguram to dole out money to them. When he expressed inability and wanted to know the reason for their demand, the two forcibly took away Rs 12,000 and a wrist watch from him. IIC Senapati and SI Pramod Bhupati nabbed them and recovered from them cash and watch and seized a knife besides a motorcycle from thttp://www.expressbuzz.com/edition/print.aspx?artid=RrJHee5s/|U=hem. The two have been forwarded to the court.
