C'garh police interrogate Maoists held by AP police

Hyderabad, Mar 15 (PTI) Two senior police officers from Chhattisgarh today visited Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh to get details of four Maoists picked up rpt picked up by the state police.

As per the information given by the state police, two police officers including a superintendent of police of a naxal-infested district in Chhattisgarh met senior police officials at Kothagudem in Khammam and interrogated the Naxals.

Four Maoists, including two women, from Chhattisgarh have been in the custody of Kothagudem police which picked them up in a forest on Andhra-Chhattisgarh border yesterday, police told PTI over phone from Khammam.

On a tip-off, a special police party from Kothagudem apprehended two top Maoists who were active in Chhattisgarh along with their wives in a forest near Mulkapalli, sources said.
